Welcome to the WI at Bramcote. We are a lovely bunch of ladies.

We offer social activities and entertainment and have lots of fun.

Our meetings are held at 7.30pm on the SECOND and FOURTH MONDAY of each month in Bramcote Memorial Hall, Church Street, Bramcote, Nottingham, NG9 3JF.

At present we have thirty five  members. All women over 18 may join.

The Institute was formed in 1951 when Bramcote was still very much a small rural village. Nowadays,  we have members from a much wider area.

Our second Monday is our business meeting, followed by a Speaker, covering a wide variety of interesting topics, for example, Theatre, Tai Chi, A School Inspector, Gardening – see our Programme 2017 page above.

On the fourth Monday of the month we are more relaxed, enjoying more social activities – a talk, an outing or a meal.

Some members are shown above, teaching and learning various crafts.
